Wisconsin Hospitality Group – owners of 82 Pizza Huts throughout the state of Wisconsin – recently completed its annual Share your Heart for One Heartland Campaign. Now in its 14th year, the campaign employs a simple concept: every time a customer orders a pizza, they are asked if they would like to donate one dollar to One Heartland. And the concept really works, as the program has raised nearly $1million for our camps and programs since its inception.
This year, they raised an amazing $67,721 which was 13% more than last year’s total. Here’s One Heartland’s Development Director, Amy Olson (left), holding the giant check:
The campaign is also a competition among the stores to see who can raise the most money, and this year the top six stores were:
Sheboygan South Pizza Hut: $3,250
Antigo Pizza Hut: $3,029
Lake Geneva Pizza Hut: $2,358
Greenfield – 76th Street Pizza Hut: $2,042
Muskego Pizza Hut: $1,980
Neillsville Pizza Hut: $1,510
WHG also gives an award to the location that does the best job decorating their store with the heart shaped donation cards, and this year’s winner was the Antigo store:
