Camp wouldn’t be possible without our team of passionate, dedicated summer staff. Our summer staff have a wide variety of backgrounds, skills, and experiences and come to One Heartland from all over the country and even internationally! Could you be the next addition to our team? Working at camp, you’ll be a part of something bigger than yourself while trying new things and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. Make lasting connections and impactful change!
Each year, we hire paid staff to work the full summer at our camp in Minnesota in areas as varied as cooking, cabin counselors, mental health/social work, lifeguards, housekeeping, health care/nurses, and more! Need to complete an internship this summer? We can often work with you and your school to adapt a staff position into an internship.
Our medical and mental health staff positions are also open for shorter commitments.

Frequently cited statistics show that women and members of structurally marginalized and/or underrepresented groups apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. One Heartland encourages you to break that statistic and apply. No one ever meets 100% of the qualifications. We look forward to your application.
