at Holiday in the Heartland!

 

Below are all the details you need to know to fully enjoy this year’s Holiday in the Heartland gala! We can’t wait to see you all there for an evening of joy, happiness, and heart.
Dress: Cocktail Attire
Here is a brief schedule of the evening:
5:30 – Cocktail reception and silent auction opens
7:00 – Dinner, program including participant speaker, and silent auction closes
8:15 – Live auction
8:45 – Dessert, special entertainment and closing remarks by Executive Director Patrick Kindler
Parking
  • The Dakota Jazz Club does NOT provide valet or validated parking.
  • There is metered parking available on 10th Street.
  • Parking is available in the Public Ramp located on 10th and LaSalle (enter on LaSalle). The ramp is clearly marked by a large Target logo AND a Public Parking sign over the entrance. Take the right hand fork in the ramp (the Public Parking side). The cost is $6 for the entire night after 4:00.
  • Take the 10th Street elevator from the LaSalle Ramp to the Skyway level, go across 10th Street and down the escalator to our main entrance.

Photobooth
We will have a mobile photobooth set up at the event where you can take photos with camp props or in front of a holiday background. You will be able to email your photos to yourself or post them to facebook and twitter immediately! See all the photos at #HolidayintheHeartland16.

Adam Turman Prints
Bid on this and other prints from local artist Adam Turman. Adam Turman is an illustrator from Minneapolis, MN, whose bold style offers colorful takes on beloved landmarks and the great outdoors. Adam’s murals can be found throughout the Midwest, and his prints in private collections worldwide. He works with major brands, independent businesses, and private collectors to make art part of our everyday.
BWCA Adventure
Join Executive Director Patrick Kindler and National Camp Director Jill Rudolph on a fully-supplied one-of- a-kind Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness Trip. Both Patrick and Jill have decades of wilderness camping under their belts. Let them guide you through the most popular Wilderness Area in the United States.
Have you ever seen a moose in the Wild? Slept under the stars? When was the last time youhave been without
your cell phone for an extended period of time? All you need to do is enjoy the wilderness and take in the fresh air.
This trip can be customized for your specific group. Do you like Glamping? Or would you rather have a more rustic experience? It is all up to you.
