The 2014 holiday gala in support of One Heartland’s camps and programs was held on Thursday, Dec. 11 2014 at the Loews Hotel in downtown Minneapolis. It was the most successful Holiday in the Heartland event yet!
Holiday in the Heartland was an evening of music, food, and silent and live auctions. Kimberley Locke, Melinda Doolittle and Devin Velez from American Idol performed, as well as The Limestones, an a capella men’s choir from St. Olaf College. During the event we auctioned off everything from canoe paddles hand-painted by executive director Patrick Kindler to a trip to France! There was something for everyone, and every item helped raise money to send more children and youth to camp.
We didn’t just meet our goal—we exceeded it. With your help, this year we raised $165,000 Thanks to our donors’ generosity, we are well on our way toward having a successful 2015 camp season.
