One Heartland is grateful to have students from Esko High School donate a day of service during the winter at the Willow River facility. Approximately 100 students descend on Willow River to do their good work, making birthday cards for campers, shoveling off the lake to make way for an ice rink, and even blazing a brand new hiking trail!
Students also get a chance to learn about One Heartland’s work and the communities we serve. They attend an education session with camp director Jill Rudolph and also interview One Heartland staff for video projects about nonprofits that provide services to communities affected by HIV/AIDS and homelessness. Thank you Esko for your support!
