Announcing the One Heartland Community Foundation
We are proud to announce the launch of the One Heartland Community Foundation—a new chapter rooted in the legacy of One Heartland’s decades of service to youth and families from marginalized communities.
While the closing of our camp in the fall of 2024 marks the end of a beloved era, the mission continues through the Foundation. Our focus now shifts to expanding access to camp and community-based programs by providing financial support to organizations that serve LGBTQ+ youth, youth affected by or living with HIV/AIDS, and other historically marginalized populations.
The One Heartland Community Foundation will:
- Offer scholarships to help youth attend affirming, inclusive camps and retreats
- Support programs that align with our core values of equity, belonging, compassion, and resilience
- Continue building a strong community of donors, partners, and advocates committed to youth empowerment and inclusion
Though the setting may change, our commitment remains the same: creating spaces where every young person can show up as their full self, feel supported, and know they are not alone.
We invite you to join us as we carry this mission forward in bold, new ways.
