| From 1993 to present day, Camp Heartland has provided fun, exciting and progressive camp experiences to kids living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Our One Heartland Center in Willow River, Minnesota is filled with diverse activities and an amazing community of people, camping offers the opportunity for personal growth, social development and good old-fashioned fun. The combination of a superb and unique camping program and many amazing campers has created one of the most respected camping programs for children with special needs. |
![]() | In 2007, One Heartland began operating Birch Family Camp, a program for entire families affected by HIV/AIDS from New York City. In August, over 100 families attend Birch Camp and, while kids experience a traditional summer camp, parents learn important life skills as well as meet and bond with others dealing with similar challenges. |
![]() | One Heartland has partnered with Minneapolis based shelters People Serving People and Mary's Place to provide a week of summer camp to children and youth in transitional housing. For a week, campers can forget their troubles and can just have fun while parents can spend time free of childcare duties to search for jobs or housing. |

| QAMP! provides GLBTQ-identifying youth and their siblings a week-long, traditional summer camp experience. This camp gives youth ages 13-21 who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or questioning their sexuality or gender a chance to enjoy a week outdoors with their peers. QAMP! is open to youth nationwide. One Heartland has partnered with GLBTQ Online High School and District 202 to provide QAMP! this summer. Visit www.qamp.mn for more information.

![]() | S.U.P. stands for Strong, United, Positive, a support group for HIV-positive youth in the Twin Cities. Once a month, SUP participants gather, prepare a meal and in turn, create a community of peers. SUP is welcome to all young adults from 16 to early 20's who are HIV-positive or have AIDS. Each fall, SUP hosts a retreat for all participants to meet for a long weekend at the One Heartland Center.

![]() | The Annual oneFutures Youth Retreat & Conference invites youth ages 16 to 22 impacted by HIV/AIDS to attend a long weekend of life skills training. During the weekend, participants are paired with a mentor who helps him or her to create goals. Throughout the year mentors are there to ensure that the goals are met through regular communication. oneFutures helps youth graduating out of One Heartland's traditional camping sessions to utilize the community that has been created at Camp over the years in order to develop into responsible adults. |
