Please know that every dollar contributed helps us tremendously in our mission to enhance the lives of young people impacted by HIV/AIDS and bring AIDS awareness to the greater community. Below is a sampling of the ways you can designate your support to a specific One Heartland initiative or sponsor the experiences of individual campers follows. For additional information about program and capital sponsorship opportunities, please contact Martha Moriarty at 1-888-216-2028.
$5 | Provides a snack for a camper on their airplane trip to Camp |
$10 | Provides forgotten items for a camper during their stay such as warm clothing, swimwear, toiletries, etc. |
$25 | Provides birthday presents and cards for 5 campers. |
$50 | Provides 3 meals, snacks and overnight stay for one-day for a camper attending Camp Heartland |
$100 | Provides decorations for special themed nights during camp sessions. |
$150 | Covers the additional "unaccompanied minor fees" for one camper's airplane trip to Camp Heartland |
$250 | Provides needed supplies to stock our “Club Meds” infirmary, which is utilized by youth who need medical care at camp. |
$300 | Provides new sleeping bags for our teenage overnight camping programs. |
$500 | Feeds an entire cabin of 8 youth during a week-long summer camp session. |
$1,000 | Sponsors a child's experience at one of our 4-day “mini sessions” or a teen's experience at our National Retreat for Young Adults. |
$1,500 | Sponsors a child's week-long summer camp experience. |
$3,000 | Sponsors a child's participation in our year-round programs and community of support. |
$5,000 | Endows our Client Assistance fund for HIV/AIDS-impacted families in crisis. |
$7,000 | Sponsors renovations for one of our six older log cabins at the Camp Heartland Center, making it suitable for year-round use (insulation, heaters, new windows, and additional updates are needed)—this helps us to serve more youth with our spring, autumn, and winter programs. |
$12,000 | Sponsors an entire week-long summer camp session for a cabin of 8 youth. |
$50,000 | Sponsors the Leaders in Training and Junior Counselor programs, which develop leadership, team building, and counseling skills in older teens (exclusive naming rights available). |
$125,000 | Sponsors an entire week-long summer camp session for 80 youth (exclusive naming rights available). |
